For Victorian Businesses, it’s alright
Today Flow Power announces a deal that adds large scale solar to the range of Corporate Renewable PPAs that we can offer business.
The deal opens up, what will be Victoria’s largest solar project, the Kiamal Solar Farm near Ouyen, for businesses to access low cost power for the long term.
Since announcing our first deal with Ararat Wind Farm in September 2017, Flow Power has connected a range of businesses to a better way to buy power. The deal with Eren’s Kiamal Solar Farm, builds on that model and expands the opportunity for businesses to short circuit the market through Corporate Renewable PPAs.
In his interview with the AFR, Matthew van der Linden, Managing Director of Flow Power, said “Our goal is to get thousands of megawatts across Australia and make it available to customers,”
“That does mean that when a customer comes to us, if they can buy a bit of wind and solar they will get a much better outcome on that type of arrangement because it’s diversified and it reduces their risk.”
