Treasurer, Minister Tim Pallas MP, has been announced as the new Minister for Resources, following the resignation of Wade Noonan MP on 4 October 2017 .

Minister Pallas brings a wealth of experience to the position, and will continue his responsibilities as Treasurer. The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources will commence supporting Minister Pallas immediately, and the Minister welcomes the opportunity to work with you over the coming weeks and months.

The CMPA would like to extend an invitation to all Members and interested industry parties to attend a Guarding workshop.

We are holding this workshop to update the CMPA’s Guarding Guideline and include guarding of mobile crushers, screens and conveyors. This will enable you to gain an understanding of how to improve guarding on your site and ensuring you are compliant with safety regulations.

Minister for Finance

The Andrews Labor Government is keeping Victorians safe at work and improving compensation for those who are injured.

The WorkSafe Legislation Amendment Act 2017 was passed by Parliament on 21 September and strengthens the compliance and enforcement tools that WorkSafe can use to prosecute offenders as well as deter offending.
